Available exclusively from RSUA Transport House is a 20th Century Grade B listed building located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Construction started in 1956 and it was completed in 1959 as offices for the Amalgamated Transport & General Workers Union It was designed by Architect J.J Brennan in the International Style. The design was inspired by the design of Busáras, the bus offices and terminus in Dublin by Michael Scott. The Transport House mosaic comprises a tiled concave mural, inspired by the heroic iconography of the Soviet Constructivists and rising five-stories above street level. The mural depicts the key industries of Belfast – ship building and aviation, all supported on the foundation of uniformed workers.
