Chunky Baroque Pearls and Labradorite Necklace

This necklace combines the beauty of Labradorite with lovely chunky baroque Freshwater Cultured Pearls. There is nothing unifom about these pearls – they are smooth, nobbly, flat bottomed and rice shaped depending on how they were formed in the mollusc. To emphasise their shape, the necklace has been hand knotted using black silk, and has been finished with a large 925 Sterling Silver bolt ring clasp. The necklace is approximately 72cm long, and each pearl is at least 10mm. Labradorite is a grey phenomenon member of the Feldspar group of minerals. It is a gemstone which exhibits remarkable plays of colour, known as Labradorescence. It is often believed to bring out your inner “Harry Potter” by enhancing magical abilities, psychic powers and mystical gifts. It is also known as the dreamer’s stone.
