Marcus Patton was born in Enniskillen and trained as an architect. He has been drawing cartoons for sixty years and has designed numerous posters and illustrations. He is a member of the Royal Ulster Academy and was awarded the OBE in 1995. He is married to the artist Joanna Mules and they have three sons, who fortunately all have a sense of humour.
