IVC-1 Active Exhaust Valve Controller – Audi (all models)

The IVC-1 Integrated Valve Controller Module from Integrated Automotive is an Exhaust Valve Controller that is Bluetooth controlled using your iPhone or Android Phone. It is an Exhaust Valve Controller offering a simple plug and play installation process, with no wires to cut, no soldering and no hassle. What does it do? It allows you to take full control over the exhaust valves on your vehicle, you can manually open them, close them, or leave them in bypass mode. you can also set a timer upon initial vehicle start to keep the valves closed for a set period of time (1 minute, 2 minutes or 5 minutes) Why would i want to control the exhaust valves? There are a number of reasons you may want to control the exhaust valves, some examples are below; You have fitted a high flow exhaust which is very loud when the valves are open, you may want to close the valves in certain situations (like on your own driveway or around quiet neighborhoods) If you allow the original ECU control the valves, it will often close the valves which reduces the engine note when you want to hear it most! You may not want your vehicle to startup with the valves open (many models do this) which can be very noisy on your driveway. The IVC-1 can be programmed to always start the car with the valves closed for a set period of time. Even in a standard, unmodified car with an original exhaust, you may wish to close the valves in certain situations, such as on your own street – so that you do not annoy your neighbours with a load sports exhaust. Some aftermarket sports exhausts provide sound levels exceeding what is legal on many UK, European and USA roads – you can close the valves to reduce the decibel level on exhaust featuring exhaust valves. Is it easy to install? Yes, the IVC-1 kit comes with a plug and play harness, installation couldn’t be easier; Remove the Audi connectors from your existing valves Connect our valve connectors to the valves Connect our mating connectors to the Audi connectors you removed from the valves Route the cables through a suitable existing grommet near the boot/trunk area and into side pods of the boot/trunk Connect the module Pair with the IVC-1 App (iOS and Android Compatible) Control your Valves We provide an installation guide for you to follow and if you do get stuck you can speak to us directly – as we designed this kit we will know how to solve any issue you have. Are there any risks? If you set the valves to be manually closed (Manual mode – CLOSED), it is important that they should not be left closed when you are planning to be rapidly accelerating or putting the engine under heavy loads, as this can damage the engine.
