2011-2024 Volvo Reverse Camera Kits (6.25in 10.25in Displays)

The ICI-1 is a retrofit aftermarket reverse camera interface that provides an OEM intergrated reverse camera functionality for your Volvo vehicle. Covering all Volvo modules with the 6.5in display (2011-2017) or the larger vertical 10 in display(2018-2023). The ICI-1 works by communicating with your existing Volvo system as well as your in-car entertainment system along with the supplied reverse camera that fits into the bootlid or number plate light (depending upon the model). It operates in either by-pass mode or in “active mode”. In by-pass mode the ICI-1 does not affect the normal operation of the in-car entertainment system, the standard Volvo user interface and the standard Volvo navigation system(if fitted) will be shown on the CID when in by-pass mode. Active mode is initiated when you enter reverse gear, which activates the ICI-1 and the display will switch over to the reverse camera interface and show both the image of the camera on screen as well as the parking sensor graphics if your vehicle has them fitted. You will also still hear the Volvo parking beeps for audible feedback. Which system do you have? Volvo non-Globe Variant Volvo Globe Variant Volvo 10in Verttical Variant What you will receive in the kit Each kit is slightly different, you will receive a module and a wiring harness, in the “non-Globe” kit for early Volvos you will receive a PCB instead of a module. The “Globe” kit and the Vertical Screen kit for the lattest volvos is plug and play with no need to fit PCB’s. There is a master controller which analyses the canbus, when reverse gear is detected the module will initiate its LVDS switch and change the video source over to the ICI-1 reverse camera and you will see the camera interface on screen. 2019 onwards “10in Vertical Display” Kit Contents (10.25in display) 2015-2019 “Globe” Kit Contents (6.5in display) The 2015-2019 “globe” reverse camera kit is supplied with a module and display.power harnesses. Installation is extremely simple, remove the blue display connector from the head unit, plug in the display connectors to the head unit and the display conector that was previously in the head unit. Plug the other ends of the supplied display cables to the ICI-10 module and the power to the quadlock of the head unit, then set your dip swtiches. 2015-2015 Volvo Reverse Camera Kit Contents 2010-2015 “non-Globe” Kit Contents (6.5in display) The 2010-2015 “non-globe” reverse camera kit is supplied with a PCB and some harnesses.
