Description Like the Argos amplifier itself, the matching 2×12 is the perfect marriage of old school design and modern sonic characteristics. Designed to work flawlessly with the Argos head, the 2×12 retains the width and depth dimensions of the Priam and Creon range, however it is slightly taller which translates into added low end firmness and authority for both rhythm and lead work alike. Humbucker and single coil guitars will sit right at home with this cab, without excessive flub or harsh ‘beaminess’ in the frequency range. Offered in a closed back format, the Argos 2×12 will compete with many current 4×12’s for aural dominance in a rehearsal and live setting, projecting every nuance of your playing with musical clarity. The Argos 2×12 sounds big, clear and open – it’s a very natural and ‘easy on the ears’ sounding cabinet, planned to work equally well for cleans, crunch and high gain applications.
